This is a great place put together by a local veteran. All of the animals were made by a local artist as well! Its all self supported so if you're close take a few minutes and go for a ride!! You'll love it!

Glad to see history saved. They took great care documenting the history of the carousel and its restoration. If you pass through Nederland, CO, You need to stop and take a ride.

This is hands down the most magical place I've ever been. The carousel has such a rich and interesting history and the environment its been placed in shows just how much love has gone into it. Not to mention its a fun ride with a crazy amount of different animals! The carousel has had so much love poured into it and generates so much joy in the people who visit it that it can't be anything but pure magic. Cannot reccomend enough.

A carousel in the middle of a mountain town?! Fun for the kids and an interesting history for the adults. Second time we've stopped in after doing something else in the area (hiking/fishing) with the kids and we always end up on a 2nd or 3rd time around .
