So far NOT so good. I tried calling to check in on my Grandmother who'd been insistent on ending her life. It sounded like she might be on the upswing and I wanted to check in on her and keep her spirits up. I was at work but thought would take some time to try my best to reach her...I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes. I finally hung up and had to call back. The person who answered remembered me having called prior and said I needed her room number and then I could call her room directly..I explained I had the HIPPA code and would glad to give him that so he could patch me through...instead I found myself having to go hunt down other family members with my Grandma's room...this while I am trying to call while at work on the EAST COAST. While on hold their marketing message about how compassionate and caring continued reply in my ear which was contrary to the customer service I was experiencing. It seems as though they are still using filing cabinets to look up patients versus up to date technology to locate patients occupancy and find room numbers.

Cedars Healthcare Center has done a wonderful job taking care of my mother-in-law. The staff is caring and always kind. I would recommend this facility to anyone. It is clean and well kept. The courtyard with the fish pond is marvelous.
