Applewood Place Assisted Living

If I had a parent or family member that needed any type of full time care APPLEWOOD PLACE ASSISTED LIVING at 2800 Youngfield St. in Lakewood, CO would NOT be a place I would send them to. The turn over rate for employees is so bad they only give caregivers one uniform shirt. This place is so unorganized it became a burden on my family and it makes me furious. My wife worked there for about a month and a half, Every pay check my wife received was incorrect. It has been over a month since she left because they made it impossible to pay our bills on time AND SHE IS STILL WAITING TO BE COMPENSATED for a full day of work they left off. At this point they havent paid and have stopped responding to her. No one should ever work at a place that doesnt pay correctly. We counted on the money she was working for and due to them paying incorrectly we paid our rent late and had to pay additional late fees. This assisted living facility has serious issues and is clearly understaffed. The place is so poorly ran that they had a patient leave the facility without anyone noticing until an ambulance arrived for another resident and they were then able to notify them that an elderly resident was roaming the property unsupervised. If you are considering sending a family member here please reconsider. If you are looking for a job here look elsewhere!

I work at a short term rehab facility in Golden and sometimes when patients discharge from our facility they need a higher level of care then going home. We've had several patients transition to Applewood and they love it! The staff is always professional, friendly and accommodating. We love working with Adam Sigrist who always goes above and beyond to help the residents and their families feel supported in the moving process. Highly recommended!!!

I just wanted to thank you for hosting trick or treaters this afternoon. My grandsons really had a great time and it was really nice to see how happy the residents were to see the kids dressed up in their costumes :). We hope to see you again next year.

Excellent place to work , clean & friendly business. Also a great assisted living place for anybody. A lot better than other businesses alike
