There are not enough superlative words to express how wonderful Applewood Our House has been for our mother and for us. I live 1600 miles from Mom and visit as much as I can. I am fortunate my sister lives a few short miles away. At each visit the house is spotless, vibrant with activity and music, bright and airy. I am sure the staff gets overwhelmed at times, but they NEVER show it. Our mother's care is important to us, but just as important is for the staff to care about our mother and leadership to care about the staff. My experience has always been positive. Loving staff who are extremely knowledgeable on caring for the elderly with dementia. It shows by the smile on Mom's face! Thank you!

My mother moved into Applewood Our House in Golden about 6 months ago. She needs a caring, secure home and we could not be happier with our choice. The staff is kind, engaged and attentive and there has been little to no turnover, which is one of our most important metrics when judging a quality employer. The food is fresh and appealing. There are activities galore and outings once a week. They also have a house dog, who makes my Mom and the others residents smile and feel like caregivers themselves. We are so glad we found this place and so is my Mom, which is the most important metric of all!

My Mother lived at Applewood Our House for 3 years. The staff took great care of her and treated her as their own. I'm hopeful that when I reach her age and need similar care that Applewood Our House is available for my children to place me into. Great staff and surroundings (very clean and does not feel like a so many nursing homes).

It is a pleasure to work with a team that enjoys and loves what they do. The caregivers have such big hearts and truly love the residents like their own grandma. The fun and laughs they bring to each other is amazing, thank you Applewood Our House for giving the opportunity for the elders to love and have true relationships with the caregivers and helping them until the end.
