Been working with Kindred at Home for two months. Would not recommend that you consider this company. Many problems from the beginning and today, I was left without help and could not get to a family funeral because the caregiver had a family emergency and could not make it. Normally I would understand to a degree however they new about this this morning and left a very nonspecific message. I called back twice because they were not clear on their voice message and I did not know if they had been replaced and I should expect someone else. Obviously no one called back nor did anyone show up at the designated time. Had a similar problem previously asking for next day help but within their 24 hour requirement and did not get a call back after I called twice. I was also specific in the beginning that we needed someone strong enough who could help assist my 230 pound disabled husband. Kept getting small slight people who I doubt could help him with his transfers. He was even worried about asking for help while they were here. If you are looking for a reliable company that communicates well, this is not it. Very unhappy and have asked them cancel my account.

Of all the in home care agencies we tried for my Mom with Alzheimer's, by far the best has been Kindred at Home. They accommodated our requests and their office customer service is stellar. The care givers were very experienced, trustworthy and knowledgeable. They made our lives much easier!
