I have worked here since October 2018. I would like to share a few things I have learned the past 9 months. First, these owners know nothing about running a business. A majority of the people they hire dont know how to cook, if you want your relatives eating frozen and canned food all the time, I wouldn't suggest this place to live. The meds are constantly a mess, your relative may or may not get all their meds when they should. They are too cheap to buy new appliances and furniture to make the rooms look nicer, so the chests and drawers they do have are falling apart. Not to mention the whole house is a dusty mess with cob webs. They do not have a nurse or medical profession on site in case one would need to be called over to one of the houses. If your relative can not legally stand up on their own they can not live here. But they will tell you otherwise and make all these promises to you which are complete lies. They dont care about your relatives privacy, they will put you in a room with someone else just because they can to have another room available. I have been very good to this company and have been good with all of the current residents families so my whole review is genuine, which they would probably also have to agree. This place is just an awful mess and even when they have real caring caregivers, they let them go. Even if you have a legitimate reason as to why you cant show up to work (I was in a car accident) I still called off 12 hours before my shift, they will still fire you because you couldn't commit. They definitely aren't considerate, if it doesnt benefit them they don't care.

I want to give Golden Orchard the new owners and the staff a 5 star review. I have two elderly parents living at Golden Orchard and they are doing amazing living there. The new owners are wonderful.The staff is so caring, attentive and loving to my parents And all the residents living there. We feel so blessed that we found this wonderful group home for my parents who are experiencing dementia. I highly recommend any of there Golden Orchard homes for your love ones that may need additional or special loving care.

This place is not worth a star at all under new management and all that place is messy and full of drama nobody cares about providing Quality care to the residence management have been made aware of the suspected abuse with the residence however she failed to report or fire the people thats been doing it all they care about is the money I worked there for 4 months coworkers are lazy and nasty towards one another Just not a professional setting I will never recommend this place to anybody not to work or have family members there its not worth it they are not up to code on many things and resident safety is not a Priority over all this place is trash all 3 houses also they pay staff members to get on here to make a good review for them Im sure this place will eventually change its name because of so many bad reviews you cannot have someone that needs a Full Assist in a assisted living you cannot have someone on hospice in a assisted living no one is trained or skilled for that please dont be fooled by the looks of the house at 890

Dr. Chang and her staff have been wonderful with my parents. They are very easy to get a hold of and a real collaborative spirit.
