Most of the staff spend 100% of their work time complaining about the job and all the other staff. They are ALWAYS short of staff...from CNA's to kitchen staff, to housekeeping and maintenance. The Administartator is not there enough to actually see what goes on. So he has sugar coated 'talks' with the staff to try improve moral and they just spend more time complaing about him. Its a very sad environment for these poor residents to live in. There are sooo many things physically wrong with the building and most of the equipment, it really hurts my heart to see these residents not beeing properly cared for. I have been a caregiver for 30+ years and have never seen a facility as bad as this one. Tsk Tsk Tsk Sweetwater...Valley Care Canter.

This place is unsanitary, there was feces under my grandmothers bed. The toilet for the residents to use is a gray color like it has not been scrub for months, along with feces in it as well. The restroom sink had dry blood in and on the outside, along with dry blood on the floor right underneath the sink. I started asking questions and the cafeteria staff advise the nurse to come into the room to answer our questions. The nurse was very short with us as if he did not want to answer or did not know the answers. We let him know that we would be making a complaint about the maintenance of the facility. He got very upset and did not want to speak to us. I ask him hes name and he said you dont need my name just say the weekend charge nurse. We made some calls and mission went to the facility and agreed with our complaints and said they wouldnt send there parents to that facility.

I used to work there. I promise they arent taking great care of your loved ones. They are very nice around visitors but those poor residents are left in their own soiled diapers for hours, subject to thieving (from other demented residents and staff alike), and their safety is put in the back burner. At least 50% of the falls that occur there were preventable if the place had been properly staffed and stocked (with safety supplies). The patients are not treated and spoken to with love and care either. Look elsewhere (avoid all Braswells facilities. This is the worst but theyre all bad) if you want your loved one to be treated with respect and properly taken care of.
