THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE, NO EXPERIENCE COOKS AT ALL, THE FOOD PROVIDED DOES NOT MEET SENIOR NOR SPECIAL DIET NEEDS AT ALL!!!

My mother stayed here for a year before she landed in the hospital from here. All they fed her & the other residents was super high carbs food. Breads, pancakes, frech toast, mashed potatoes, french dips, grilled cheese etc.....it's is very cheap to buy & feed the residents and saved the facility money. My mother gained 35 pounds in unhealthy weight in one year. I had to special 'request ' vegtables. The cook told me they were not allowed to feed them good wholesome foods like fruits & Vegatables or real fruit juice or milk, too expensive. So the cook herself felt sorry for the residents and would go by fresh vetables to cook for them !!! Oh my goodness !!! They often ate off of paper plates & cups to save on water and electricity from doing the dishes Wow. I would see this everytime I came to visit. One time my mother didnt get a shower for three weeks. I really pray this has all changed since I reported this. I was told this was changed so I hope so. Keep an eye out for these things & always ask your family member and other residents how they are being treated everytime you visit. Believe your family member & the residents. Be their advocate. Be their voice. This was not that long ago.

The entire staff, from Jim Breswell to the admin department and nurses, so lovingly cared for my father. I cannot say enough good things about the care and love he received while he was at the facility. They also went above and beyond in helping me through a difficult process and time. The facility is clean and well cared for. The residents were all handled personally and with kindness. I feel very blessed to have found Breswell Family Care.
