Siskiyou Springs Senior Living Community

As power of attorney for our friends, we chose in their area the very best Senior Living Community, 'Siskiyou Springs'!!!!! We appreciate the friendly and effective manner of the leadership staff. As we expected the leadership's attitudes have positively guided the entire staff and in turn our now resident friends. The RA's, MedTechs, Housecleaners, Laundry Ladies each are sensitive to the needs of our friends. The facility Cooks provide a specialized vegetarian option at each meal which our friends enjoy. Even both the younger and the more seasoned Maintenance Men and Drivers listen with sensitivity to the residents and go the extra miles to provide not only maintenance but also to add to my security and comfort as well as to my friends and to other visitors. My husband, who has an acute olfactory system, said that Siskiyou Springs is the most pleasant smelling elder care facility he has been in. We are both very pleased that the facility sponsors excellent educational opportunities for the residents, their guardians and even the community. Lavon Ramsey RN, CEN, CPENAddendum July 2020:Last week the wife of our 'husband & wife friends' under Hospice Care at Siskiyou Springs Senior Living Community died. Once again the staff at Siskiyou Springs provided amazing support to her grieving husband of 68 years. Annette Hart accompanied the husband for a last visit at the funeral home. Due to the pandemic the husband was not able to travel to his wife's burial in Southern California so Annette facilitated the husband listening via FaceTime on her phone during the burial. The compassion and understanding of the leadership and staff is amazing!

Think twice before placing your loved ones here. Exorbitantly inattentive corporate staff who only care about making the new management money...

The maintenance manager here is dangerous. He has threatened, intimidated and harassed our friends and family multiple times. He seems more suited to being a prison guard or in a corrections facility rather than working around the elderly and disabled. Siskiyou Springs, if you care about the safety of your residents and their families, please investigate how someone with such a demeanor could possibly work here. Something is seriously wrong and it seems to be escalating. I would say he is a dangerous person. I'm honestly afraid to share my identity for fear of physical harm and retaliation for me or my resident loved one. When we complained to staff, they said there was nothing they could do because the maintenance manager is a relative of someone in management and therefore above disciplinary action.

Very aesthetically pleasing building! And the staff is just amazing!
