A place for Mom or Dad, Joy of living is by far the best place to have your loved one's live at, I know because l have a loved one that lives there

My mom stayed at Joy of Living, she had dementia and Joyce and Chris did such a great job at taking care of my mom. They took care of her till her last breath. I am so glady mom ended up there. She was in a nice home, clean and safe, with people who mad her feel like family. They showed her love and really cared about her 100% and for me too. Thank you Joy of Living!

The first time I walked in the facility, what I noticed was no foul odors hit my nose! It was very clean! That is huge in my book! What I appreciated was Joyce has all the residents freshly bathed first thing in the morning before breakfast. They all sit at dining table to eat together and then sit in living room together. Joyce and Chris keep to a schedule for meals, rest and bathing before bed to mention a few. Joyce pampers her residents giving manicures, pedicures, hair styling and haircuts. No one stays in the bed, unless necessary. Special requests for favorite foods were brought in to treat the residents. For example, sushi for my mom! Some that are able have outings to the movies or shopping. Joyce is very intuned to her residence and senses when something is bothering them. I've known her to go to the doctors visits with them and also stay at the hospital with them. She has sincere concern for her residents as she feels they are like her family. I'm so glad my mom was in their care. I didn't have worry if she was getting the attention she needed there which was a tremendous relief. I thank them for taking good care of my mom till she fell asleep in death.
