My friend resides here. For 2 years it has had extremely poor management. The kitchen staff has had severe lousy unhealthy choices of food which they seem to run out of constantly. Management says they have nothing to do with the operation if the kitchen.Residents complaine of poor choice and quality No real diversity. Same old stuff!.. The room bound residents are the last to get their meals and normally not what is ordered. Milk seems so be in short supply.Delivery of your meal may be an hour after the dining room is finished eating. Most kitchen staff is poorly trained and does not read the orders. And how did this building with all of these residents get thru planning with only one elevator. During the fires the evacuation of residents was horrifying . When the elevator broke they had residents that could not go to Dr. Appts because they could not go down the stairs for 3 days. If this is supposed to be a quality place to live I would say !! This is one of the worst managed facilities in the county. And not cheap.Hire good working people. Pay a good wage and put them to work with good hours. Only a few of the kitchen staff care about what they do. There is no Dignity in serving lousy meals to the residents. They are on the receiving end of the complaints. Who do these residents complain to? Each other and the caregivers. Excuses for the poor food are dismissed, not addressed. The same with poor service for meals . And doesnt room temperature oatmeal and eggs sound appetising, how about cold porkloin with cold grave, pancakes with no syrup, backed potato with no condiments at all?? Room temperature meals are against all the health department laws!! Why doesnt corporate do anything. Did any of the written complaints ever get checked out??A meeting was held once with residents addressing the kitchen issues. But talk does not make anything change, only action does. I sure hope the issues get addressed. This facility has lost lots of cfc residents due to poor quality of management in ever aspect of running a business. C [email protected]

This is a terrible place to send your loved elderly people. They are not transparent about rates, and they would increase the rent every year at an unexplainable rate. There was a rent increase last year, and this year the increase is three times more than last year! We are not getting any explanation, and the manager seemed pretty rude. My mother in law in the mean time is stressing out about rent, and having the feeling that The Bonaventure is taking advantage of her. In addition the food is not that appetizing and cheap meals get served regularly like nachos for instance. They have plenty of vacancies, and it seems that their way to make a profit is by ripping people of who are already staying there. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
