Simi Home actually cares about their residents. This home is better than most board and cares in Thousand Oaks that are much more expensive.

Young, vibrant staff that truly cares about the people in the home. They cook fresh, actually homemade meals from scratch and don't just buy Dollar Store products and call it 'homemade'. All the rooms are clean and bright with natural light coming in from all angles of the home. Huge backyard too!

I visited my uncle at Simi Home Assisted Living yesterday. When I walked in, a staff member was just having a conversation with him but my uncle looked really happy. I just wish Simi Valley assisted living was closer to where I live so I could visit him more often.

I live out of state and needed to find elderly care in Simi Valley for my mother, since my father passed away about a year ago and she is starting to need help with daily living activities like cooking and cleaning or managing her medicine. I wasnt familiar with assisted living facilities or board and care in Simi Valley but the staff and owners of Simi Home were very knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to get us hooked up with in-home health and let us know it was possible to be reimbursed (depending on insurance) for our out of pocket costs. The house is nice with a big front yard and back yard. Highly recommended for anyone out of state who needs quality elder care in Simi Valley.
