My mother was at Silva Board and Care under Helen and Joels care for 4 happy years. While she was there, her condition improved dramatically. She began to sit up, eat by herself, and started to laugh and to interact with the other residents and the other care givers. We could not have found for a better place for her. Helen and Joel did an excellent job caring for my mother. Thanks to them, she had the best last four years of her life. My mother was with Joel and Helen for 7 and 1/2 years and we were very pleased. So much so that we just signed up for the care of my wife's 94 year old mother who we need help with. Often care homes will advertise how they treat their clients like 'family'. Joel and Helen and their staff really do. Many relatives of those who died at the home still come to the Christmas Party months and years after their old ones are gone. That speaks volumes.
