Villa Serena has a fantastic group of residence residing there. The staff is one big family, even though we are not related. Like all BIG families we have our dynamics, good & bad, happy & sad. Crazy & not so crazy and never a dull moment. Most importantly is how much we care about our residence and each other. That's why it works. I am very happy to add that we have NOT had ANY Covid-19 at all and God willing we will keep it that way. We all have been EXTREMELY DILIGENT following all the rules put out by CDC, Department of Health, Governor Gavin Newsom. When I say 'we all' I do mean the entire staff as well as the residence themselves. It's TRUE we're ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

Villa Serena is a place you feel at home. All the employees know who you are. They get to know you on a personal level. The cooks and kitchen staff are always available to talk with you about your dietary needs. Everyone is family...

We have lived at Villa Serena Retirement for almost 2 years and have found it to be a warm and welcoming community. The staff goes out of their way to insure that all the residents are happy and comfortable. We live in beautiful surroundings with a newly designed landscape, lighted recirculating water fountains and an artistically created large pond. There are paths to stroll for residents to walk as they take in the peace and loveliness of the environment. Many of the apartments have been recently upgraded along with our dinning and activity room that is currently undergoing through renovation which will add to the quality of life here at Villa Serena. This independent retirement setting is a must see for prospective residents as well as the community at large. Mr. and Mrs. Silva

What do we look for most as we get older? That is easy, friends, our old friends begin dropping away like roses at the end of the season.I have found wonderful new friends at Villa Serena! I would not care if I lived in a palace or a trailer just so long as I was surrounded by caring hearts. My first new friend, shes 96 who spends an hour each day on the exercise equipment. Then I met another great friend and her boyfriend has took us both to eat many of times. We had another resident move in and she started a bible study group. We have an Ardent Catholic and a Hindu Agnostic in our group which makes for some lively discussions.Since my husband passed of 57 years, I decided it would not be a good for me to live alone. Now I enjoy Villa Serena's free monthly excursions which make me feel young again. I can drive but it is wonderful to know that when I can't rides will still be there. I have a security of a gated community, free parking space, and no lease its all month to month!! I am free to move in our out whenever I please. Wow!Nothing is perfect, the free cable TCM and the computer in the activity room was bought back in the day but who needs perfect when almost perfect is so affordable. Did I mention the great food? Resident since 2015.

This community not only offers large apartments for seniors but they are also affordable for the area. They offer three meals a day, weekly housekeeping, emergency call pendants, transportation to appts if you gave up driving, utilities, cable and a full activity program to keep your family member active. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! They have a duck pond with outdoor seating and lots of trees. Pet friendly!! The staff is very accommodating and very pleasant to talk too. Its a retirement community you must see!
