Sunrise at Tustin

I never do reviews, but my experience with this place was emotionally exhausting. The pay is low compared to other assisting living homes. The staff is very unprofessional, specially the Bussiness Office Coordinator. They sent me to some mandatory classes an hour away from where I worked and they said they were going to pay my mileage. I had heard from other co-workers that they got paid within the 2 weeks from taking those classes. Many times I had to request for that pay to my superior from Reminiscence and the BOC. The BOC had told me that I had to talk to the main manager because apparently she didn't know how to submit the form even though she did it for the other coworkers. So they just had me back and forth requesting for them. I just found it ridiculous how I had to remind two grown professional women about my mileage check, after 7 months I got paid.I had to constantly be calling her, saying that i had not received my mileage check. There were times where she would pretend to get my home address to send it to me but when i would have to call her again, she would ask for the address again.. or sometimes they would tell me that she was not available to take my call. To top it off when I went back for my last paycheck, she said that she had lost it or misplaced it. . Overall, very unprofessional management.

Does anyone know how much do caregivers get paid to start with 3 years of experience?

The compassionate staff members of Sunrise at Tustin have cared for my mother for three years. The facility is excellent, the food is delicious, and the activities are stimulating. Any issues or problems we have encountered have been addressed and corrected.

Nice activities pre-planned, menus are nice and fresh,rooms are cozy, staff is easy going, and attentive, all fees adjusted to Patrons needs.Homey and nostalgic!
