I moved my grandparents to the Atria La Jolla here from Florida about two weeks before everything started slowly shutting down for COVID-19, so they got to experience a bit of the normal Atria life which they thoroughly enjoyed. But, what they've experienced since things shut down has been even more telling about the staff at the Atria La Jolla. It's a difficult time for everyone right now and with the state mandated rules for senior facilities, my grandparents have had to mostly keep to their apartment for weeks now. During that time, the staff has done quite literally everything they could to keep them comfortable. They have been coordinating meal delivery to each and every resident along with additional surprises like theme carts with margaritas, soft pretzels, and other kinds of things to keep the residents engaged. They have gone so far above and beyond to try and make everyone comfortable in a very uncomfortable time and me and my grandparents are so very grateful. We look forward to being able to get back to some sort of normal at some point, but we are very happy that we chose the Atria La Jolla for them.

My mom has been here two years. She says it provides a very nice life. She is very happy with the food and the options. The entertainment is enjoyable. She likes the comraderie of the people and the helpfulness of the staff. She enjoys the light and openness of her apartment

We moved my mother to San Diego a few months ago to have her closer to more family. We quickly found that the Atria fit all of her needs. We have been more than happy and even at age 88 she has easily maneuvered her way around, participates in many of the activities and uses their transportation to get to the close by JCC. She is very happy with the food and service and we are always treated so well there and we visit often. When a small problem arises they address it quickly. The guest speakers, video lectures and visiting musicians have made her stay very enjoyable and she now participates in the offsite trips that are offered. So happy that we found the Atria!
