My mother and sister live here. This place is so wonderful, absolutely gorgeous views of the ocean. The staff here are all wonderful and care so much for their residents. One of the best senior citizen residents to live in!!

Just placed a call to Casa De Los Amigos in Redondo Beach. A gentleman with a thick accent answered the phone. I asked if there were any one bedroom apartments available and if so, what is the procedure in renting one. He replied in an angry and demeaning voice, 'Do you know what day is today? It is a holiday, and we're NOT opened!' I responded in a defensive tone, 'You know, all that isn't necessary. All you had to say was that you''re closed today, and to please call back tomorrow.'. As if no one goes apartment hunting on a holiday. Sometime people forget that just because a person is in search of affordable housing, doesn't mean that they are looking for a handout. And, it definitely doesn't give anyone the right to treat them so disrespectfully.
