My parents were at Atria Tamalpais Creek for nearly five years until their passings last year. They were well cared for throughout. Their ability to come and go, coupled with the in-house dining room and Bistro, served them very well. Regular musical guests and activities also made the place special for them. As they needed more care, Atria staff helped me line up resources and stayed in touch with me, which was especially important since I was out of state. This facility is clean and bright, nestled under Redwoods... it was perfect for my parents!

Too much personnel turnover. I suspect they do not offer incentives for these nice people to stay, and it is upsetting to have this constant turnover of staff. And the rents have increased 10 to 12 percent every single year! I would say they need to not only offer better service in the dining room, but also better food. And this year they did not bother to put the Christmas lights outside. Even Novato residents have noticed that. The nice director left, the kitchen is still badly run, the two bathrooms are broken and the rents went up again. Not right at all.New facilities are being built in Novato, one would think Atria would care to safeguard their reputation, keep their employees and hire a CHEF!
