If I could give a zero star review I would. If you are only looking for aesthetics then, you will be OK with this facility. However, if you are looking for a caring place for your love ones then, you should take a second look at this place. We had experience's with both the assisted living for over three years and the skill nursing my husband, which he had to be placed in after his hospitalization. After my complaint to their corporate office regarding his treatment in assisted living, Brookdale skilled nursing claimed he had made enough progress to be discharged. I found a new facility for him. The new facility did their evaluation and found he had not made the progress stated by Brookdale's head therapist. The new facility is older, yet clean with lots of caring staff around the clock. The cost is somewhat similar however, the care is worlds apart for the better.

For long term care it is very good. My friend of 30years was there three years ago and had exceptional care. The staff is wonderful, Food.. okay, clean and in a nice setting. HOWEVER, three years later she had a serious accident with her scooter, and returned to the same site in Camerio, that is when the head of the facility showed his true nature. Short term stay'd are not welcomed, and although she was due for another surgery they forsef her to return home where no care was established and she was to return only after she had the surgery? None of this was made clear so she could arrange for help... Why push her out the door when she was to return directly after surgery? I met the director he was rude and demeaning to this aged woman who had no other help or transportation. All they wanted was her bed to fill it with a long term patient?!
