My mother lives there and she seems Happy and at peace.. They are individual apts.so it's a very quit place, curfew set door's locked Around 4ish.. It's a nice place because it's a little community . In the community room, there is a pool table, Tv, kitchen full service. They play games, hold meetings & They have church there too. I know that a few times a year they have yard sales as well. People get along and when they don't they do figure it out!.. ESKATON is great because your still independent but close enough to get help if you need it! . I'm happy that my mother feels & knows she is independent to be on her own.. she also has a little dog and anyone can have a garden too. W/help of family I feel its the buffer to help our elder family ajust to there new living conditions until there in need of more help to possibly come home ELC (End of life Care).. My mom loves her independence she will not let that go until she can't do Alot of things on her own. This way it's keeping her busy, strong minded and she has her dignity in tact!*

Eskaton Washington Manor is a very well-run senior housing complex. It is clean, the buildings are well cared for, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. The staff are courteous and helpful, and the tenants are very friendly. There are a lot of opportunities to engage in pleasant activities and make friends, and, just as important, there is no pressure for one to be more involved than one finds comfortable. I just wish I had come to live here years ago when I first became age eligible.

I am so grateful to live at Eskaton Washington Manor. The grounds are beautiful, with spectacular views of Mount Shasta and the surrounding countryside. The apartments are well-maintained, the staff is supportive and responsive to our needs, the community garden is a blessing to so many of us, and life as a senior citizen is made so much easier for us in so many ways. I feel like a princess living here!
