We recently had a tour of this facility, my 82 year old mother and I. At my age, you learn to see through the fog of flattery and realize your first instincts are usually correct. Cleanliness is a big issue for me and when you see a dead rat snuggled under your tire, you should run. Before our tour, though, I did try and find a janitor to clean this poor animal but had no luck. Instead, I noticed a few women who resembled caregivers talking loudly on the phone and using obscenities. Classy. At this point, you may question why we proceeded with the tour. I had to understand why exactly The Redwoods would charge over $4,000 for a one bedroom apartment! The final straw: influenza outbreak.-Jackie
