Solheim Senior Community

I totally agree with all that Anthony Davenport wrote. Not going to repeat and Im not half the writer he is. There is no better than place. You will find many people who have been to other places, sometimes several, but when they get to Solheim they know this really is there place and they are glad to stay here.

This Care Facility is quite different from all others that I am familiar with.It is rather difficult to explain the differences succinctly.If you have experience of regular Care Homes you will be astonished by Solheim.You will not be dazzled by opulent decor or harassed by a 'Closer' Solheim take total responsibility for care not just the profitable/convenient parts.They have so many health-related functions on site that doctor/hospital visits are almost eliminated. More important is their vigilance and responsibility in monitoring the Resident. That attitude seems to permeate everything they do.So health issues never seem to deteriorate beyond the trivial initial stages. It is difficult to put a price on that standard of care.It is more difficult to say how Solheim compares to other Care Facilities(& I personally know quite a few very well !).You'll easily find cheaper places but I could never find better value ,nor a higher standard of care. Solheim is a bit of a secret in the elder care world. They seem to have no ability to describe themselves in a comparative sense. So their major source of new residents seems to be word-of-mouth referrals from Doctors & other Health Care professionals and family of existing residents. That is a pity to be so exclusive but now at least you know too :-).I am not easily impressed nor am I shy about calling out the laggards so this endorsement may be rather more significant than most.God willing, I shall be fortunate to end my days in a place half as good and twice the price.
