I just taught a fun Zumba Gold class to all the lovely seniors there and it was simply awesome I enjoyed working along with the staff and the environment was extremely professional as well as friendly. Everyone seamed to be happy and enjoying themselves. I am grateful to everyone and am looking forward to teaching there again!

79 YO father left outside in the sun, uncovered and unattended during summer heat wave. Mouth was wrapped around metal arm rest, mucus running out of nose to cement! This occurred TWICE. In both instances a staff member, to use her words, 'beg you to report us to the state to shut this place down'. My photos dont lie. Less impactful experiences but always annoying was the CONSTANT lost clothes, and bleached out, formally colored clothes. Tell the management and nothing changed. Also, Elmcroft management was PATHETIC in returning calls. My advice, seek a private provider. This corpoate facility is a chicago based REIT (Real estate investment trust) out of Chicago. They are a publically traded company. I make zero exaggeration in this post, zero. Again, photos dont lie. Go private.

This facility is definitely in my top five for elderly care facilities that I deliver to. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the nursing and caregiver staff are very attentive to the guests compared to many of the other facilities in the same area.

I am an RN who visits this facility frequently to see my hospice patients. The staff are incredibly kind and compassionate to their residents. They are so willing to assist me with any needs and ALWAYS do it with a smile. I have been in this industry for over a decade and have visited countless facilities. I would recommend Elmcroft to anyone looking for a great place for their loved ones! The staff clearly love what they do!
