Hi-Desert Continuing Care Center

After being in 2 other nursing facilities over the last 10 months CCC was, by far, the most caring and compassionate to my loved one. The staff were always right there to make sure he was comfortable and would check on him to make sure he was ok day and night. Thank you all at CCC for the care you gave us while he was there. And a special thank you to those of you who tended to him directly and on a regular basis. I can't say enough. Also your facility is the most well set up and taken care of, with the central open patio area and aviary and aquarium. You all are great and should be proud. Thank you again.

Very clean and very nice

My 87-year-old mother is very dear to me. It was difficult nine months ago to acknowledge that she now needed long-term care and was admitted to the CCC. My wife and two siblings call or visit my mother daily to closely monitor her situation and assure her of our love. Looking back 3/4 of a year, I have been very impressed with the quality of care my mother receives on a regular basis from the staff. They have shown themselves to be prompt and attentive to her needs and make weekly visits to her and other patients asking where they can improve. This is most welcome and unusual based on what I have observed and hear about other nursing facilities. On the occasions when I have needed to discuss concerns about my mother's health those whom I have dealt with are professional and respond immediately. I congratulate the management of CCC for working so hard to keep the patient care at this high quality by hiring and training skilled staff, keeping the living environment clean/fresh, and for the overall pleasant atmosphere for those who live there. During this challenging time in my mother's life she is very happy and that is all a son could hope for!

I like it here! Most of the staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help me. There are a couple of bad eggs, who probably shouldnt have gone into nursing, but...The food is for the most part good. I had no idea what I was getting into when I came here, but Im glad I did.
