Sunrise assisted living of fair oaks

I came here to look for a place for some family members and the receptionist was great! I came here just to ask a few questions and they helped me. Its very nice here.

The Sunrise Senior Living of Fair Oaks has an extraordinary special group of caregivers. Their kindness, expertise and care were evident in my mothers last few years and magnified in her last few days. There was a period of her stay when my mother needed more help with showering and toiletry. The staff had an amazing ability to help her overcome her reluctance to shower while allowing her to maintain her dignity. The caregivers sang with her, listened to her stories and laughed with my mom. I saw the same dignified care given to other residents in this facility.She loved sitting outside in the rocking chair surrounded by the flower gardens and oak trees. I often found her in the backyard watching the cats or petting Tucker the dog. She was involved in the exercise group, balloon volleyball and listening to live music. She went to the church services provided there. On her 90th birthday the staff allowed us to use their recreation room for a family gathering. The staff has always been generous and out going to make sure we felt at home. Mary at the front desk always welcomed us. If you wanted to know where mom was, she knew. Often while I sat with my mother, a staff member would stop by to chat with us and to make sure I was comfortable. Over the years the nursing staff and caregivers kept me informed on my mothers needs and condition. The called us if there was ever a medical concern. Whenever I left I knew my mother would be well cared for. My mother was very happy living there. She called it home.
