Im a former employee there and they are HORRIBLE. All the reviews are true, they verbally abuse the residents, they sit them in front of the television ALL DAY. They never clean the residents rooms, they eat the same food every week. Employees forget to give the residents their medication. Ken, the owner is very unprofessional so is Alfrey. DO NOT take your loved ones there the place is very unhealthy.

This place is a death trap! Everything about this place is total bull, there isn't a nurse on staff only under paid caregivers and no chef as it implies. Its sad how the owner Ken treats his staff!!! He belittles and bullies them. He refuses to pay the employees on time and if you work over time he will not pay you for it. The staff are under trained and know little to nothing about patient care. He's a very mean man and threatens his staff on a regular if you question anything. The patients that live there are often ignored and left in front of the tv or in the rooms for hours at a time. I was the cook there from Dec 16-Aug17 and this by far was the worst place I have ever stepped foot into. I've witnessed the lack of care and staff ignore the clients basic needs. I caution anyone who's looking to place their loved ones in this facility as it will be one of the worst mistakes you can make. Its all about the money for him. The only good thing I can say about this place is Alex his manager on duty she's very nice but aside from that I would rate this place a negative 10 if I could. Beware of this place

If I could put a minus stars I would! Everything on their website is a lie! There is NO CHEF on site, the girls throw stuff together when they want to. The girls they hire are not qualified to care for elderly people, one I encountered during my fathers VERY SHORT STAY, (approx 5 weeks), could not read a blood glucose meter, did not know the differences in the insulin, and the sliding scale used according to the read on the meter. The only activity I ever saw them do was walk to and from the TV room and the dining room. They are just sat in front of a TV all the time. One of the girls cut my fathers hair and beard without our permission and they lied and said she was dismissed, but she wasn't. The first day we moved dad in, Ken, the owner was there and between him and him sending his girls into the room several times while we were trying to get dad adjusted, (a little more than an hour), we were 'reminded' 8 times not to forget to stop by the office before we left to pay. Getting money from loved ones families seems to be high priority at this facility, not the health and welfare of the residents. Not to mention, all gates are pad locked shut at all times and half the time when I would go there they would have trouble finding the key. God forbid there is an emergency and they need to evacuate quickly.
