HORRIBLE &UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I'll keep this short as possible... I work here for just about maybe a month it was nothing but drama favoritism unprofessionalism and Hate! From the first day I started I heard nothing but negativity from the employees about this company! The employees are miserable and messy as hell! First of all there is like almost a whole family that works here in different positions. I was never trained properly another med tech who is her aunt was training me to do another person job on another shift that came on after mines (in her words) because she like them or they were some kin to her..Wow i reported to the director and the wellness director everybody was in cahoots with each other Its was a waste of time. I wouldn't get any kind of feedback when I had questions about certain things no one will email or return my phone calls. I will come to work and get attitude's I was watched as if they were looking for me to do something wrong to report me. There were times I will come into work and the client would not have depends on or wouldn't be in their night clothes duties That should've been done on the earlier shift but I had to do it and that's neglect. I had to take a few days off due to a death in my family. I never got paid bereavement I got ignored when I asked about it. I was told to call within a few days to let them know when I will be back after doing so. I did not get a response for over a week. I received a text after 10 p.m. on a Sunday night from The Wellness director saying I was scheduled to work. My response to her was I've been trying to get in touch with you all week via text, emails& phone calls and did not receive a response. I even reached out to the director of the facility no response. So I assumed I was fired. I was told if they 'LIKE' me I will get a better position but I was starting off as on call part-time.(After the interview) The first two days on the job one of the ladies that trained me was pulled into the office and asked did she like me? WOW! Which she was a residential care aide. I was lied on by one of the other Residential Care aides which was in a client room watching TV when she should've been training me. She didnt not have a radio so with me not finding her. I went to knock out one of her shower she was supposed to be doing..The director of the facility the wellness director and other management or rude ,disrespectful & unprofessional. The employees or miserable & stuck . I wasn't trained properly .The corporate office wasn't much of help either then after I quit. The wellness director had the nerve to ask me to come in and put in the notice hell NO! if y'all can't be professional with me dont expect for me to be professional with you!This place SUCK THEY WANT YOU TO DO OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK AND DONT TRAIN U properly a whole entire family works here everyone is in cahoots with each other.EVERYBODY TALKING ABOUT EACHOTHER. A bunch of drama nosey miserable tricks.One of the med tech gave the client the wrong medication instead of putting ointment on her rash she put it in the client's mouth she did not get fired because she's some kin of damn near everybody up in there. The last straw was part of the reason I left I was told by an employee that a client has MRSA she also informed me how she prepares herself to go in the lady room far as a mask and gown and I was not informed of that information they was so busy trying to have me do other people jobs and being nosy etc. not sure how true it was but that was it.ETC ETC I REMOVED MYSELF FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE BECAUSE I FELT MYSELF STEPPING OUT OF CHARTER! Not worth it

My mom just had her second hip replacement - both times she did rehabilitation at Brookdale. I think the employees are sunny and super accommodating. Thanks to the entire staff for making our experiences good ones :) To Brookdale: the only thing you're missing is a pet therapy program!
