Staff really care about the residents. While the office is an open layout, they are careful to discuss certain matters when others aren't there. Employees spend time interacting with residents but do NOT gossip about other residents. In fact, they are known by residents to stop gossips for the sake of others.

There is no privacy if you need to meet in the open office. They will humiliate people that walk though. They need a whole staff change. They also need a forensic accountant to go through the books. Although it's pretty on the outside, the staff gossips right along with the older people so if you want your business private do not mention it to anyone.
