So you are raising the monthly rent by 500 hundred dollars. With a 45 day warning, My 90 day Grandma is forced to move. She worked her whole life to have piece of mind and now she will live on her own in an apartment with no staff to care for her. Your management company is absolutely disgusting!!!!!

My mother has been here for two years. We looked at several places and they were by far the most affordable. The staff is courteous and goes out of their way to make sure she is healthy and happy.

What an awesome place! For years, privately owned Baxter Retirement Village held off on raising the rent until costs to run the facility forced them to take action to protect their ability to provide the quality care they've become known for. Comparatively their prices are far lower than most in the Mountain Home area! Do you know of anywhere you'd want your loved one to be cared for where they run it on 'a shoe-string' basis! Hell no! Ask anyone in the area and you'll find they are known for their unmatched intensive attention to detail uniquely designed for both the Assisted Care Residents as well as the Apartment dwellers. This place may be an older facility but it has a 'bed and breakfast' feel to it and ran by the most incredibly devoted Administrator and staff that any family could ever hope to find. Yes ... they have budgets and guidelines they're bound by to meet the individual medical needs, dietary guidelines and personal attention to meds for their residents as well as countless activities to promote a general well-being, contentment and fun. It delivers every aspect that defines 'home' that anyone could desire and pray to find. I lived there for 21 months. Arriving gravely ill, I was cared for and brought through an amazing recovery by this place who were devoted to assisting my medical doctors in bringing me to the best and most resilient state of health I could have ever hoped for. Yes, I moved when I decided I was ready to return to a house and all that I was prepared to take on again. I'll forever be grateful to them for being there for me and embracing me unconditionally with their devotion. Don't walk ... run to them when you are looking for the next level of specialized care for your loved one! You will never regret finding the very best place anyone could pray to find! It's a treasure when faced with your loved one's needs.
