I have worked closely with Lindsay Ishak and I find her to be very professional and personable. She conducted an excellent tour of the facility and had wonderful relationships with the residents. She has done an informative presentation for our senior group and did an excellent job. It was very well received. I highly recommend this facility.

My husband, Steve, fell and crushed bones in his ankle and was gone from home for 45 days. Mercifully and thankfully the last 38 days were spent in the loving, skillful, healing hands of the professionals at The Gardens of Scottsdale. Gaye, with her lovely English demeanor, opened the doors for Steve and he landed in what seemed like a 5 star hotel room, (with a menu to match) in their beautiful 16-bed Rehab to Home wing with a spacious gym and a staff of physical therapists who would over time, bring Steve from NO weight bearing to 100% weight bearing and pave the road to home. But the surroundings and excellent meals did not overshadow the wonderful care Steve received. We were hopeful that their past positive reviews of patient care would hold true and that Steve would receive the attention he needed 24 hours a day.... Enter skilled nursing's Neil, Jessie, May, the Director Gayle, Colleen, Kathryn, Tina, Charlie, Tensia, Jennifer, Ellen, Jody, Christina, Louisa, Diane - they were there every day in every way. And the Garden's faithful Dr. Mathew who stopped in multiple times a week. But the honors must go to Steve's skillful therapists Lana, Kayla, Trisha and Kim. These ladies brought Steve back to his feet and back to his life. Lana focused the power of her full understanding of Steve's many challenges to lead his recovery. She was his enthusiastic cheerleader, her faith in him was constant. There were many tears when we left. It truly was like leaving our family - leaving home to come home. Thank God for the Gardens of Scottsdale and all the wonderful, skillful, caring people who got Steve's through his bad patch onto the hopeful road to a happy ending.

My father was there years ago, there very nice and Friendly when getting your love one in there. But things changed quickly once there admitted. My father was paralyzed on one side because of a stroke. He needed care with bathing, eating and also PT. I noticed his urine was becoming very dark in fact the color of coffee. I told them of my concern which was never addressed. So I called 911 and had him admitted to Scottsdale Osborn, where we then found out he had Mrsa in his urine. Which I believe was from unclean cath care. Doctor over facility was not helpful at all. Again I told him of my concern with the color of his urine he then in turn told me we cant keep putting him on antibiotics. To make a long story short again he was admitted to Scottsdale Osborn and died from sepsis. I requested medical records and read over every single line and all the reports that the nurses would chart said his urine was clear which was a lie. Being in healthcare myself I know the signs to look for.

I stopped by for a quick tour on a Saturday afternoon. Darion gave me a thorough tour and answered all of my questions. When the time comes for my loved one, this is where I will choose.
