If you are looking for memory care, then you have probably already traveled a very painful and heartbreaking path. Dementia is a cruel disease, and caring for someone you love with the disease, just rips your heart out. I have been on that path now for many years, and it is very hard to find a living situation that is right for who your loved one is becoming, not for who they were. I made that mistake. I tried to find someone that my mother would have liked, my mother before the disease. And that was not a good choice. I learned that I needed to find somewhere for who she was becoming because of the disease. And Pacifica Senior Living was head and shoulders above anywhere else I looked. These small cottages with just 14 residents ensure that my mother is 'seen'. My mother, who was an intensely private and independent person, now spends her day out with other residents in the dining area or commons area. Never in 100 years would I have thought that this is what would be best for her - but it truly is. With Dementia, social interaction is so important, and she gets that at Pacifica. She is up moving all day, eats 3 meals (better than she did on her own!) and she is interacting with other residents (the cottages place similarly functioning residents together). I could finally start to sleep again once we got mom moved in. There is no happy path for Dementia, but my mom is safe, care for, and healthy - I really could not ask for more.

Having Pacifica as a choice for my wife a comfort in the first place, but with the COVID_19 incident, and the facility's response, the value of my decision enhanced.

Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley is a beautiful cottage-style community that offers a secured Memory Care environment for their residents. The community is extremely clean and staff knowledgeable and friendly!

Pacifica at Paradise Valley is a very caring and capable facility combining memory care with the other essentials that come with senior living.

I can't say enough good words about Pacifica Memory Care! We have an unusual situation in that at that beginning of the Covid lock down, the home my husband was in for less than a month closed, and I had to find a new place for him. Of course he was free of the virus and Pacifica took us in during this difficult transition. He went from being at home in my care, to two different places in less than a month. Pacifica has been great! they keep me informed and have worked with us in getting my husband settled. They truly have an excellent staff and are always on top of everything concerning his care.
