I wouldnt be here going on 5 years if I didnt like it! You can be as busy as you want or as lazy as you want!

I have enjoyed the past 15 months at Thunderbird Senior Living because it provides me with comfortable and safe living without the maintenance of a house. I especially appreciate the large clothing and storage closets, the thorough apartment cleaning provided every two weeks, the trash pick-up Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the washer/dryer combination just around the corner from my apartment. Because I have severe allergies, I also appreciate the individual air conditioning unit with replaceable filters and an individual thermostat. There is a huge selection of activities daily (including exercise classes 5 days a week) and the freedom to participate in those of interest to you.

Terrible experience. I have just tried to call the number which is supposed to be available and NO answer. This is supposed to be a 24 * 7 line! Unreal!

Thunderbird Senior living use to be a great place to have your loved ones live, and also a great company to work for until Senior lifestyle took over! Ever since new Management took over it has gone down hill, less activities, prices constantly going up nothing extra to show for it. They use to take pride in there food now its Mosley all frozen pre packaged food. No flavor food is always cold. We use to have a great Chef when he left the kitchen went down hill. Management is a joke! Can never be found ,always screwing around in there offices. The Ed and HR are besties witch definitely gets in the way of a professional work environment.Hr keeps nothing confidential, a lot of the employees called corporate nothing is ever done! but with all the complaints, and move outs the past few months maybe that will get someones attention. They don't even have a Chef,or a Dining room Manager at the moment. I get calls and tx that the place is falling apart! schedules are a mess, always short, no one around to help and I don't even work there anymore. Yet I get calls to come back! And show the management team how its done! A lot of the employees are never appreciated, for the hard work they do. The Ed does not know how to run the place she lets her emotions get the better of her always yelling! accusing people of stuff that never even happend! I've called everyone at corporate and no one seems to care please don't ever send your love one here they deserve more! And there are plenty of better facilities,All these people care about is your $$ and if you need a job look elsewhere they will work you till they don't need you and then kick you to the curb, there are plenty of good jobs out there.
