American Orchards was such a great community to move my Grandma to. After realizing that we needed help and could no longer care for her on our own..finding the best place for her to have an easy transition from the comforts of home to a community was such a heart wrenching time for our family. We had cared for her for 8 years..and realizing we couldn't do it alone was a challenge. After touring numerous places for a few months, we decided that American Orchards was the best fit for her. The welcoming feel of the community, the friendly staff who immediately took to her and gave her the immediate love and attention she had at home was just what our hearts needed to see. They were not the cheapest place that we looked at..but when it comes to the care of your loved one..we realized money really shouldn't be our obstacle. They provided her with amazing meals, special requests of meals that she had at home (even going out of their way to find her absolute favorite Popsicle she loved so much), weekly manicures to make her feel pretty, entertainment that would brighten her days..not to mention the memories it gave her when 'Elvis came to the building' and she lit up like a lightbulb dancing the afternoon away! The staff was so attentive, the management team was available when needed and the communication with my Grandma was always transparent and no hidden 'agenda'. When Grandma's health began to decline, she was carefully watched, the RSD very attentive and informative with all of us and went to be with her side at the hospital until Family could get there to be with her which was the most amazing gesture to ensure she was with ones she knew and loved and would not be afraid and alone. When it was known that her time was coming very quickly to depart this world, the American Orchards team worked so amazing to get her on Hospice and back to her 'home' so she could pass in peace with those who loved her and cared for her by her side. I absolutely could not commend the staff and management at American Orchards enough for caring for my Grandma as if she was 'Everyone's Grandma'. Transition of a loved one is never easy, heartbreaking at best. Knowing that the American Orchards team was all on board and made the transition so easy...was the best thing for all of our family! She is missed every single day... knowing that she had such a great last year and a half of her life at American Orchards makes it all a little bit better. Thank you to all of you at American Orchards who gave Grandma Doris the absolute BEST! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

American Orchards is the third facility I have placed my mom into in the past three years. I wish it had been my first. I have two facilities to compare American Orchards to and I can honestly say there is no comparison. These previous facilities made promises they couldnt keep, provided subpar care that was borderline neglect, provided terrible meals. I visited my mom every day just to ensure she was ok and was getting things she needed. American Orchards is priced higher than most facilities I have researched but the excellent care she receives and the relief of concern and stressful situations we endured is worth every penny. You definitely get what you pay for. My mom is in a facility because she needs care and American Orchards provides excellent, quality care. All of the employees are friendly, helpful and show genuine concern for my moms wellbeing. They provide quality meals with many choices. Before, I would find my mom in the same clothes for days until I changed her. At American Orchards, she is in new, clean clothes every day. Care givers look in on my mom and take time to visit and talk with her, watch tv with her in her room, make her feel loved. American Orchards has an onsite nurse, 24/7. I would receive a phone call at least once a week, if not more, from her previous facilities that my mom had fallen, was sick, had edema, rashes, bed sores, etc. In the six months my mom has been at American Orchards, I have not received one call of concern. If I have a question, concern or suggestion, someone is available to talk with me or I will receive a phone call within a few hours. I highly recommend American Orchards. I still visit my mom every day but it is because I want to and not because I have to.
