I have never met a better bunch of people. The people you meet doing this is so wonderful and rewarding. You truly see people giving from their hearts. Many make great gifts for them. And the residents (elders) we meet doing this truly tugs on our heart strings and pushes us to do more. We lose some friends in there but we gain new ones too. It is hard to know we have lost them but knowing we was there when they was here makes us all feel good. I think everyone should go in a nursing home to visit, at least once, so you can see what we see, and you will know why we feel this is a much needed mission. not just in our area, it is needed in every city and every state. I hope more will join us on our mission of hope, caring and kindness for our elderly living in nursing homes.
