While some of the nursing staff are very friendly, the quality of care received is terrible. More often than not there is only one nurse and one assistant on staff at any given time. Many nurses are rotated in from other places and completely unaware of the patients needs because of a severe lack of communication. This particular patient was mishandled and could have suffered further injury as a result. Her medications were not given to her timely or accurately on multiple occasions even after repeated instruction, which led to needless suffering. At one point, a family member was trusted to take her medication to her instead of a nurse. This patient was a fall risk and was left alone using the restroom often and even once on a painful shower bench screaming for help after not being bathed for over a week. Patient visitors had to clean dried up feces off of the commode that had been left there by the attendant. The biggest problem is a lack of communication between shifts and a severe lack of staffing. More times than not, there is no staff on the floor at all for extended periods. Patient had to call family on multiple occasions because nobody was available to help her.

My neighbor is a head nurse there it seems to be a good place nursing facilities also Retirement Center
