I am sure there are some good schools in Mingo county, but I can't seem to make myself include Lenore or Kermit K-8. The bullying is so bad at these Schools that a young boy shot himself. I personally had to remove my daughter from Lenore and put her in Kermit K-8 hoping the bullying would stop but it got worse, so now like so many other mothers in Mingo county and there are a lot of us I have checked, my child is being home schooled. On top of now not having the social interaction because the principals and teachers don't want to do their jobs, she is afraid of everyone, has panic attacks and has very bad anxiety. My daughter was normal till middle school when the bullying began and not a single adult in the school system could do a thing to stop it, just like so many other young children still today.

Stopped by and tried to talk to someone about a job opportunity at the BOW office. I was told they were leaving for lunch. I explained that I could come back. I got met with a dismal response of, 'Dont worry about it, theres nothing posted, and when it gets posted it will be on the website.' It must be the same highly qualified and motivated people working at the BOE as at the DMV.This is why Mingo fails at everything. Laughing stock to say the least.
