Glenville Center

So thankful we were able to get my 93 year old mother into the Glenville Center after she had a heart attack last February, 2019. We live only 7 miles from the Center and my husband and I are able to visit as often as we like and stay as long as we choose (8 Am - 8 PM ). They take very good care of Mom and we thank each and every one there for that.

Our family can rest at night knowing that everyone at the facility really cares about the residents. They take really good care of our Dad. Aides, Nurses, Dietary workers and Activities people are sure to always tell the residents that they love them. They are sure to pat them on the shoulder or hug them quite often in passing by. It's good to see the residents laugh and smile. Everyone is very patient and pleasant with the residents when they may be acting in a difficult manner. The Nurses are good about communicating with our family about anything changing or occurring.Family is welcome to visit or call at any time. I personally have spent a lot of time here visiting and have seen the staff handle every situation with professionalism and compassion. We recently had a very nice Thanksgiving Dinner with our Dad there. There was also a Family Visitor Appreciation Day and we were served cake.I have shared our story with several local families so they'll know that the staff here can't be beat. Thanks for doing such a good job.* I had to come back and mention some other workers that I missed in yesterday's review-- all also wonderful, loving and kind, hard workers. Julie the Administrator, housekeeping, the Social worker, the therapy ladies, the maintenance men, and the laundry ladies. Love them all! If I still missed anyone, apologies. Dad couldn't be in better company.

Elderly friend went to visit her sister.a nurse had her son there in 20s maybe.he was blocking my friends path she asked him to move and let her by.he starting cursing her.what is going on at this place!
