My mother was there for a couple months and after 2 weeks they raised her rent over $3000 more/month. The nurses and aides are great but they are severely understaffed. We moved my mother as soon as we could. There are many issues with this facility. It is a nice place but the ability to properly care and management leaves much to be desired. Focus is more on money than level of care.

I am the attorney for the estate of Jack Holt who was a resident of Elmcroft Maplewood for over 3.5 years. My wife, Rebecca- his sister-in-law, was the responsible party after the death of her sister. During this time period Mr. Holt received excellent care. He required numerous trips to Morgantown, local hospitals, and doctors. This was scheduled and arranged by the staff at Elmcroft. As we live in California this was truly exceptional assistance. We were truly blessed with the care of the administration and staff of Elmcroft Maplewood.

Wonderful and amazing place!!! Staff and management care so much for the loved ones they take care of. Great atmosphere, activities, food, special events, and more for the residents.

My mother enjoys being there. They let her play cards and walk aroung the inner track. My only concern is her meal in the evening. Sometimes it's good and sometimes not.Kudos for keeping people safe.

Elmcroft has been a great place for our mother/mother-in-law. She feels like she's in her own little apartment and has made friends. The staff take care of her as much as possible... considering the resident to staff ratio. They are good at keeping us informed. They consistently offer activities for the residents. There's a special place for those who take care of the elderly. What a tough job they have!
