The memory care facility was less than adequate for my grandmother. There were multiple occasions where my grandmother would need help and I would have to actively search for a caregiver. There were usually two (rarely three) caregivers in the wing that my grandmother was in vs the 10-12 residents who made up that section of the facility. The ratio of staff to residents, in my opinion, did not seem ideal as there were usually not enough caregivers there for all of the needs of the residents to be met in a timely manner. Roughly half the time when I visited my grandmother, her room smelled very unclean (the smell of urine); it was clear that the hygiene of my grandmothers room was not taken care of properly. My grandmother was pretty much bed-ridden and rarely talked to my family or I, for most of her stay here. My family ended up moving her to a place where she could get more attention and care (her well-being improved after she left this memory care facility). This memory care facility might be a good fit for your loved one if they are still physically able for the most part. I do NOT recommend this facility if your loved one needs more one-on-one attention/care because this memory care is not able to provide that due to the ratio of caregivers to residents.

The managerial staff is very rude and very unprofessional. The care they provide here is unacceptable. They bully their staff and retaliate against workers who feel the residents aren't being treated fairly. I actually witnessed this and overheard the staff talk about this while sitting waiting to view the property. Needless to say I will not be signing any paperwork and I will be searching for a new residence for my grandmother.

This place is beautiful. My good friend moved there two years ago and never looked back! We come to visit for meals and they are surprisingly good. In fact, we try to go for lunch anytime we visit. The staff is warm and welcoming and the new Executive Director really seems to know what she is doing. When we're ready, we will move here too!
