Let me explain my experience this this employer and why I would not recommend working here.So I have a health condition with my neck and chronic migraines. Because of this Sharon felt like I could not handle working in her home and I need to do one on one care as a caregiver. She also blamed my health conditions on the job when I told her I have had these issues my whole life. I called her once asking if I could have a sick day because I was having horrible ear pain felt like an ear infection so i could see a Dr. and she blew up the whole thing into something big telling me she new I was going to do this, however I never called out before that and never needed accommodations for my health or to go home early. I did end up working that day anyway just shortened and she would not let me to stay and finish working until my normal end time. She also told me she had planned on talking to me already about my position working with her about my health, she also has made comments before this about whether I can handle the job and whether I should just go work one on one.Sharon told me that I would need to Obtain a DR note in order for me to work in her home, she does not want to be held liable if anything happened. She also took it upon her self to search for another job for me to do in an adult family home that she felt would be a better fit for me and told me that they would just 'share'me I could have hours at both places. I had the interview at the other job and would be taking a $2 pay cut and the other women wanted me to work full time. I sent Sharon her DR note and was told that's not good enough she needs a more detailed and specific note. I felt like I did not have to send her a personal note like that in order to work, however I did the day before she let me go a detailed note saying I have no restrictions from working and can work normal duties as a caregiver. She then sent me a message the next day telling me she decided to go with live in care she will pay me for two weeks notice and she still thinks I should try the other ladies home out she will give me a pay raise. I knew she lied to get me out of her home. Once she found out i filed for unemployment she sent me a message saying 'since you decided to get unemployment instead of a job I don't feel obligated to pay you 2 weeks notice pay.' (which I was getting a job just not the one she wanted me to get). Then she tells me after sending me my pay stub she was only going to pay me two weeks notice if I took the other job, which she never once stated that prior to be filing for unemployment. She also stated to me she would pay me sick pay which she never did. So my point in this if you were looking to apply for her, she disrespected me, lied to me, and pushed me away because I have a condition with my neck that does not prohibit me from working.

After breaking her hip at age 95, my mom lived at Sharon Taylor's Adult Family Home for the last part of her life. Sharon's staff were so loving, caring, gentle and provided my mom with a great feeling of security in a very difficult time for her and us. They nursed her back to a level of health that was remarkable. The home is clean, they are very careful and thoughtful of food restrictions and tastes. They did their best to create a feeling of inclusion and participation in the personal, social and religious needs of the residents. I don't think you could ask for a better adult family home. The difference between this and a long term care program was night and day.

Spotlessly clean, Excellent Food. I have been in and out of this home for years and I have never at any time observed anything other than focused attention to detail and caring. The attention to each residents needs and cares is all you could hope for and more. This is a TOP NOTCH HOME
