Very courteous service

I called Friday at 3:29 pm to inquire how to protect my daughter from her mother's boyfriend as they are required to go there every other weekend and the last visit had a scenario occur wherein my daughter felt violated. The conversation lasted 16 minutes but we only discussed the incident for about the last two. The woman was very rude, and seemed to relish in the opportunities to interrupt me and then act like she was proceeding with processing the report, then would circle back to lecturing me on why I needed to be interupted. It really seems like they have a chip on their shoulders against you if you are the father. Even before hearing a word out of your mouth or discerning who was the custodial guardian, which I am. Then she stated that I was already getting access to alot of services because of the police report I filed two weeks back and it will be fine. She wouldn't listen to a word I said. She heard me, but she wasn't listening. I don't care about access to various services that are shutdown due to covid. I want to protect my daughter. I asked to speak to her manager and she said she was it, she was the only one there. She almost let out a giggle while stating this, I'm frantic and getting pushed from person to person cause nobody wants to do their damn jobs and help me protect my daughter. Enjoy your weekend dss. Thanks for making the world a better place, or not really, thanks for dipping out early on Friday and leaving the world's most incompetent and least caring person ever in complete control of the phone lines, and thus, in complete control of deciding for herself what is or isn't worthy of protecting

The communication between the workers are horrible. I have been calling for over two weeks and had received no call back from a Estelle Banks nor her supervisor. I called today and then was put through to a Miss. Willis who was also short and very blunt and unnecessarily direct and upon picking up the phone was holding a conversation with one of her colleagues. I think that these workers have forgotten their core courses of Engl102 and how professionalism is a top priority inside of the workplace. I have been given the run around and treated as if I was begging for a handout!!! No one apologizes for the rudeness and they speak over you as if you are incompetent or unable to convey a proper sentence!!! Wow Virginia Beach, please do better your degrees do not excuse you from providing exceptional customer service and respect to your customers.

Most times the people who come here are professional takers they wasted their youth and health and know how to test the system .and they will test you and any other place they can . There is a difference in helping someone and enabling someone for ever . ..

It's the Commonwealth of Virginia. Sad to say its essentially needed for the less unfortunate, the Lazy, the Handicap, the Weak Minded, and Children who are never to blame.
