Pheasant Ridge Senior Living

Hello everyone! My name is Vivian L-Repique and I'm the Memory Support Director here at Pheasant Ridge Senior Living in Roanoke. I'm pleased to be here and spending time with our residents. I find that our facility is helpful and loving to the residents. We also encourage them to do the things they enjoy doing to make them happy.

I moved my mom into pheasant ridge senior living when my husband and i just couldnt manage her at home safely. We decided to tour pheasant ridge senior living as well as some other facilities in Roanoke. We were very impressed with the executive director, Ann Dunbar. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and a real problem solver. Mom was very happy at pheasant ridge and my husband and i felt she was in a safe environment. When we were informed a new executive director would be taking over as Ann had been promoted, we had high hopes. Mom began to call us with more complaints and my husband and i began to have more concerns. We were used to Ann being so available and approachable, we assumed the same from the new executive director and department managers; we were wrong. No one was to be found after 4pm and most all of our calls were never returned; there were many issues needing to be addressed however our concerns went unheard. We strongly considered moving mom out and were touring other facilities again, until we saw Ann and were informed she would be back in charge. My husband, my mom, and myself understand theres a lot of changes to be made to get things back however, we couldnt think of anyone better to get things back on track. If you want an executive director who is strong, knowledgeable, kind hearted and trustworthy; someone you can really talk too and who really cares about your loved one, i urge you to consider pheasant ridge senior living and Ann Dunbar.
