This facility is is under new management and ownership as Blue Ridge Senior Living and they have ruined it! It is unsafe and families are removing residents rapidly. There were 4 families leaving Saturday when I moved my father out. Do not place your loved one in this facility and pray for the safety of the current residents.

The kitchen (dietary aid) need to be better manage. The employees in the kitchen need to be treated FAIRLY !! If not you will lose good employees!! no one employee should be doing all the work while the rest of the dietary aids are hiding out to avoid work!! Or leaving to go home early!!

This facility and its staff show a love of the residents that you can only hope for. They are creative in their activities and caring in the handling of the residents. The management team continues to build a family atmosphere that is unique here. These facilities are dependent on the relationship between the staff and residents. The interaction between them is enjoyable to watch and makes for a very happy place to live and work. The current management appears to understand their very important role and take great pride in making symphony Manor a great place.

Don't know as much yet HOWEVER I am VERY impressed with the staff and the facility on what I observed today. I will be placing both of my cousins there with no hesitation. We compared it to other sites and very much like this one.

This facility is far from the grotesque description that was previously mentioned. The staff is professional, the facility is clean and there are endless benefits from having family reside at Symphony Manor of Richmond. Family of the patients, the patients themselves and the staff are deemed as one unit, a family. My questions and/or concerns have always been answered timely and the resolutions were executed. Symphony Manor of Richmond exudes the feeling of warmth, passion and dedication and I am comforted in leaving my loved one in their hands.
