Welcoming environment, happy people! I just helped a client downsize and when we sold her condominium in Henrico, she needed an elevator and a little help. Independent living, yet help is available and there is a pull string in bathroom, for emergencies.I really liked the staff and residents were welcoming of the new girl! She does not need a vehicle as they take bus trips to the grocery, walmart, Target, the mall etc, hospital and doctors as needed. Also, they have a cosmetologist who comes to do hair on site! She is enjoying the community and they have tons going on to keep her entertained. Lots of walking paths, gym, movie nights, bingo, church groups right there!

There are 3 apartment sizes - Efficiency, 1 Bedroom, and 2 Bedroom. The latter has 2 bathrooms.Rent is comparable to similar units in the area, based on raw numbers alone. When you consider that AC, heating, and hot water is included - with individual forced air cooling, heating, and water heater - rent becomes an incomparable bargain. When i moved in, the apartment was basically new - freshly painted, with flooring (carpet / tile) replaced. Service is prompt - 3 maintenance requests each resolved same day.People with cats or dogs won't want to apply - neither Fido or Fluffy is allowed. Income qualification may be a challenge, with both minimum and maximum limits (carefully and compassionately verified).Right now, I have no intention of ever moving. I suspect that I am not alone in this opinion.
