NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR CNAs TO WORK AT. THEY WORK THIER CNA LIKE SLAVES. WE COOKED THE RESIDENTS FOOD , DID HEAVY DUTY CLEANING . AND WASH CLOTHES. WE DID MORE KEEPING THE PLACE CLEAN THEN TAKING CARE OF THE RESIDENTS.

My 96 year old mother needed 24 hour assisted living care. We chose Havenwood and were extremely pleased with the care and compassion which she received. I visited her everyday, at various times during the day and was never disappointed with her care. Her room was kept tidy and clean, her personal needs were met and during her last days, the staff was attentive to both of our needs. Everyone from Mark, the owner, to Cheryl, the nurse, to all the girls and cooks who interacted with my momeveryone was kind, thoughtful and concerned for her. I recommend Havenwood highly.

My husband has Alzheimers and he has been at Havenwood for seven months, I come in at 8am and leave at 6pm seven days a week. I have observed the care givers and staff and can only say that they do a top notch job. I am comfortable at night knowing that he will be well cared for. The kitchen staff fix special meals for peoples particular needs, and request. The environment is pleasant and well kept. I highly recommend Havenwood!

Havenwood has occupancy for only 24 residents at a time. That in of itself guarantees that the atmosphere is quiet, peaceful, and relaxed. Perfect for people who are ill. Through my church I have been to every Assisted Living Facility in the area. My first choice was Havenwood when I had to select a place for my husband. Whenever I had a question or a request, the staff in the office always answered forth rightly and always got back to me quickly. Not once did I witness anything but kindness and compassion for each patient from the staff--who were always calm, took the time to stop and listen to a patient's requests, and to reassure them they could help. Residents were in their rooms, out in the common room in their recliners, on the sofa, or sitting at a table. The kitchen was clean and tidy and the patients seemed to enjoy the food. If they desired something else, it was always provided. Residents could have a snack or even a sandwich at any time, if they wished. Havenwood was a wonderful place for my husband in the last months of his life, and I am so grateful for the excellent care he received.

We moved my 86-year-old mother into Havenwood a little over two weeks ago. She had been living in our home for 9 years after strokes took away some of her independent living skills. We didnt want to move her and she didnt want to go. We knew it would be an emotional and difficult move. The staff at Havenwood made the transition as easy as could possibly be. We all expected a long adjustment period, but after two weeks, we are well ahead of where we expected to be. Havenwood has provided a home atmosphere for my mother and the nurses and aides do everything they can to accommodate her needs and make her feel like family. Weve visited everyday since her admission and see the effort the staff makes to make her feel at home. The food appears to be good and they work to accommodate an individuals food likes and dislikes. The one complaint we had was addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. It is obvious that Havenwoods goals are high and they work hard to meet them. Im sure there will be bumps in the road as we move along, but our goal is to have Havenwood meet the needs that we can no longer meet at home. Im confident that those goals will be met.
