I have been in and out of Skyline Nursing and Rehabilitation for 20 years now. The administration has Skyline the cleanest I have seen it, in the 20 years. The residents are treated like family and the staff constantly strive to meet the needs of the residents and family. Nurses are trained to provide for the residents no matter their needs, to include anything from daily medical assessments to being trained on wound management. The office staff assist in daily task to ensure that everyone is kept clean. In addition to long term care needs, Skyline is recommend for rehabilitation for all needs. I would encourage you to setup a tour of the facility to see what it can provide to your loved ones.

Staff is irresponsible and ignores residents needs. Nurses fail to give medications as ordered or doesn't give them at all. Residents personal items are frequently stolen. Staff often goes down the road to a dumpster site to smoke cigarettes. Most of staff has a bad attitude and poorly trained. This place is more like a bad kennel than nursing home for people! The Virginia Department of Health should pull their license immediately! Definitely NOT a place to put your loved one!
