Visiting Angels

I just wanted to recognize Rebecca. I am a home health nurse and she helps one of my patients. I see her continually going above and beyond to help our patient. She calls to remind him to take his medications and she works hard to help him with errands and projects. I know I appreciate her and my patient does too. She is truly an angel!

They really live up to their name

Worse place I worked for. Dishonest from the beginning. 2 job offers visiting Angels said $12 or $12.50 full time. Other company wanted to match it I told them I would work part-time with them. Visiting Angels of course it was $12 wouldn't even give me 20 hours in the 4 weeks. Drove 35 miles to work 3 hours then drive client another 10 miles. It cost me to go to work. Went to initial company they wanted a concrete schedule to work around, visiting Angels messed with my schedule day by day so I couldn't even give a 2 day schedule. Finally told the other company I'm sorry you were right do you still have full-time? They matched the wages and went beyond what I expected! Told visiting Angels I want to work part-time with them Jessica and Jon both said yes. Of course no work. Even when I told them I had open availability, due to working grave yard shift nothing! Texted Jon to ask why my paycheck net amount was more then the gross. He'll call me later, of course he never did. Horrible! To this day I have no idea if I work for them or not. Unfortunately, in this line of work especially, it's sad that you normally get workers that are like the owners and bosses. I pray I'm wrong for the clients sake!
