The Retreat at Sunriver

My mom lived at The Retreat at Sun River for the last 3 years of her life. I cannot say enough about this place. The staff was great. Always kind, compassionate, friendly, and really cared about the residents. My mom was very happy there. She liked the food-Jose & Juanita in the kitchen prepared tasty meals, and always stopped to chat. At 96, my mom didn't partake in too many of the activities, but she enjoyed Bingo, and loved the Ice Cream Social on Fridays. The retreat is clean, nicely decorated, and very welcoming. Kim at the front desk was always helpful whenever we needed something faxed or emailed or copied. Nance was always available and helpful when we needed something taken care of medically, as was Andy. Heather is just absolutely amazing, always has a smile on her face, and would go out of her way just to give my mom a hug, and spend time with her. Garrett really helped us out when we needed it. Truly loving and caring staff. Everyone was always nice to us, no matter what we asked or needed. I would not hesitate to recommend the Retreat at Sun River to anyone looking for a nice assisted living facility.

As a care provider for a local Homecare & Hospice company, we have clients that live in both facilities The Retreat at Sunriver and the Retreat at Sunbrook. As a care provider, I have a different, yet unique perspective on the facilities and the staff, which goes beyond the homey decor. I have witnessed the time and care the management team takes with their residents. I have personally sat down with the Administrator Garrett, the facility managers, Dustin and Nance, and the Registered Nurse Andy. I have worked with them all to facilitate care my company was providing to our clients. I cannot say enough how impressed I have been, when discussing a residents care, how involved their team has been. They really care about their residents, and want the best for them. I have worked alongside their employees; they are genuine and love the residents they serve. There are quite a few Assisted Living Facilities in St. George, and I have been in most, but very few have that special staff that truly cares for the people they serve!

The Retreat at Sunriver was amazing during the time my Grandma was with them. Living so far away was difficult but knowing Heather and the staff was watching over her it brought me great comfort.

Great facility and I have noticed a lot of changes in the past couple of years for the better since placing my dad there almost three years back. I would highly recommend this assisted living. The staff is always willing to help and answer my questions when needed.

We highly recommend The Retreat at SunRiver. We are so pleased with the care our mother received there. The staff is friendly and caring and we always felt we were a part of their caregiving family for our mother.
