Southgate Senior Living

I went on a tour with Nina and Kamie. They were amazing. Im so impressed with this facility. The rooms are so big and the nurses were so attentive to the residents I highly recommend this community for your loved ones.

I was invited to attend a Valentine's Day dinner at Southgate and tour the building and grounds. What I found was shocking. I was expecting a nice nursing home with bland but healthy food and maybe a piano player doing songs from my grandma's nursing home years. What I found was a lovely, classy, beautifully set table with Martinelli's 'wine', and handmade chocolates at each place setting, and a dinner show featuring a really good Elvis impersonator who made sure that every lady in the audience got a little love from the King. So many smiling faces! I brought my husband with me, and it was as nice a dinner date as could be had. I found staff that don't like their jobs - they LOVE what they do, and it shows. The apartments are just right, bright and fresh and homey. There's a beautician that visits twice a week, nursing staff is always available if needed. They also provide secure memory care for loved ones. They have completely changed my mind about assisted living. You can be as active (or not) as you like, there's always plenty to do, and the golf course view is delightful. Part of my job is helping seniors downsize and relocate as aging changes their needs and I would not hesitate to recommend Southgate to them or their family.

The staff at Southgate is fabulous. The rooms are very large and the activities are so great. The people are so happy living there.

This place is awesome. The team is very engaged in activities and care for the residents. Highly recommend!
