Sagewood at Daybreak

Meag was a dream come true during the touring/decision making process and even our move in Experience was incredible! With in a week we discovered they were very good at making a sale and very good and phrasing things to what we wanted to hear. Never a straight forward lie but never a straight forward truth. Its a beautiful facility but sadly no integrity. So now we are dealing with more chaos then before we started and moving AGAIN.

dont even bother looking at this place if your loved one has mid to late stage memory issues. the CNAs are nice, but they dont keep in touch on chart changes.. if they even look at the charts. i believe one of the higher ups, Wade, dumped off my loved one at a psych ward in provo and took her belongings to a facility in salt lake city BEFORE telling us of the plans to do so. some of the nursing staff don't even know what an oxygen level should be. they file BS medical reports. this place is pretty, but ridiculously too expensive and heavily underqualified for an overglorified daycare of a memory care facility.

My Grandma moved into Sagewood after a stay in rehab with the hopes that she would continue to improve following a fall she had at home. Sadly she spent her last few days here on hospice care. The staff were all wonderful with her. We cannot thank them enough for taking care of her so gently and kindly during her last few days. This all happened during COVID and Soni was great to work with us so we could come and say goodbye. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend Sagewood. Beautiful building, wonderful staff. Grandma would be proud to know she was so well taken care of in her final moments.

My Mother is a resident at Sagewood and we cannot say enough great things about this facility. They are like an extended family we never knew we had. They have endless options, the staff is more than willing to help with any needs, and you always feel welcome and part of the Sagewood family when you are there. The dining room is like a fancy restaurant and the servers are not just servers, the take the time to get to know the residents and their families. Joseph especially has made my Mom feel like she is cared for and he always is willing to help her and ask how her day is etc..... I can count on Austin with any help I need whether it's a question about my Mom's routine, or health concerns, he is always willing to quickly help.

Sagewood is a beautiful facility where the residents become neighbors and good friends. There will never be a care facility that can duplicate being in a place youve called home your whole life. However, the need for more care than our family could give our parents in their home as well as a place they could maintain their dignity and independence led us to Sagewood. After looking at and comparing other facilities we chose Sagewood because it was new, clean, and beautiful. It offered the level of physical help we needed as well as the social environment they needed. There was an adjustment period for sure! There have been frustrations with some things over the last few years but overall the CNAs and Med Techs and Administrators work very hard to give the care we expect. They are compassionate and kind as well as respectful. There are some we definitely wish we could clone because their care is exceptional!! Last year a new management team came onboard. It was at a difficult time for us with the passing of our dad. The transitions for our mom have been hard but they have made a difference with their kindness. We have been impressed with their hands on care and visibility. Their personal interaction with the residents has been wonderful. They truly love the residents and are friendly and respectful to family members as well. Wade and his team are true to the motto making a difference every day at Sagewood. They have made great strides to listen to and address the needs of the residents and are making a difference. Thank you! We also appreciate the food services staff, the activities team, the bus drivers, the physical facilities team and all the employees and volunteers that make the challenging time of aging and poor health easier because of your care. Thank you! Sagewood was a great choice for us.
